Overview

Valley Christian Church is a Restoration Movement fellowship, located in the tri-state region of western Arizona along the Colorado River. With over 40,000 residents of Bullhead City, not counting the surrounding towns, we have the potential to spread the Gospel message to thousands.

Valley Christian Church has many loving members and a spirit of unity. Our current minister has been here for over 22 years and is looking to retire. Our current associate minister has been here for 5 years and is willing to become the preaching minister, as the minister retires. We are looking for someone to come alongside of our staff to work in the kingdom of God and keep the momentum going strong.
 
Ideal candidate 
The ideal person for this role is a highly relational person who dreams of seeing students and families come to know and follow Jesus. We are looking for someone who wants to grow the current ministry in the direction God is leading. Someone who can build a team of leaders so that ministry isn’t limited to one person’s capacity. Someone who uses systems to build a ministry that prioritizes relationships with families, relationships with students and leaders, and relationships with our community.
 
Responsibilities
Be responsible for mid-week and Sunday youth services for Jr. High and Sr. High 
Along with trips and events. 
Some preaching 
Help the body of Christ to grow 
Participate in various church activities 
Show love and kindness to the entire body of Christ
 
Qualifications
Have a Restoration Movement Bible college degree or equivalent experience 
Basic Computer skills 
Patience and love for youth 
Able to train and coach others to serve one another 
Provide spiritual and pastoral support for youth and families navigating life challenges 
A collaborative spirit, with the ability to teach, motivate and mentor both youth and adults 
Music abilities are a plus, but not required
