For 30 years, Shepherd's Home has provided a safe, stable, and Christ-centered home for children facing difficult circumstances. We are seeking a compassionate, faith-filled married couple to serve as our next House Parents and continue this important legacy of care.
 
About the Role
House Parents live on-site and serve as the primary caregivers for children residing at Shepherd's Home. This unique opportunity combines foster parenting, mentoring, ministry, and household management to provide children with the love, stability, and guidance they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
 
At Shepherd's Home, we provide a furnished, well-maintained home with a van and utilities, groceries, and recreation budgeted. You, supported by a caring community, dedicated volunteers, and our ministry team, provide the love, encouragement, and support children need every day.

Qualifications 
Married couple committed to serving together 
Active Christian faith and alignment with Shepherd's Home's mission and values 
Ability to obtain Idaho Foster Parent Licensure 
Ability to pass state and federal background checks 
Strong communication, caregiving, and organizational skills
 
Foster care, residential care, ministry, or trauma-informed care experience is preferred but not required.
