We are a small (30-40 person) church looking for an outgoing individual who loves Jesus and is willing to help people in our church and community to understand how to have a personal connection with God through the Scriptures and prayer, and how to mature in Christ's love and do the ministry God has gifted each believer to do.

We hope to have the new pastor start this position ASAP. It is a full-time job. This position comes with a parsonage and utilities paid as part of the salary package.

Job description:

The minister agrees to:

1. Personally fill the pulpit and lead regular meetings of the church, except when speakers or musical groups are permitted by the elders.

2. Labor in personal calling, study, preaching, teaching, office work, meetings, etc., and represent the church in community affairs.

3. Present his programs to the elders for their ratification and implementation.

4. Preach the Word, as it is in the Holy Bible, in kindness and in love and be governed by it in his way of life.

5. Maintain and care for all church property entrusted to his care, such as but not limited to church parsonage, equipment, etc., keeping pets from tearing up parsonage and yard and keeping the parsonage and lawn maintained and junk out of and around the church property.

6. Provide and sign all necessary paperwork needed to fulfill the benefits as outlined in this agreement, including but not limited to: HIPAA, IRS regulations, Labor Laws, Social Security, Medicare, Insurance and others.

Looking for a person who has a passion for young people, as they will be responsible for overseeing 6th-12th grade and our young adults. Someone who wants to pour into their lives by teaching them God’s Word, supporting their everyday lives, and by connecting with them in relationships. We have 3 other staff that work alongside each other that work together to support each other in their ministries. This individual is also responsible for recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers within the student ministry and oversees the curriculum and teaching materials. The leadership puts strong emphasis on the youth of the church and provides many resources to carry out these ministries. Any questions or want a job description please contact the email below.

We are a restoration church out of the Stone/Campbell movement. We are located 15 miles north of Springfield, IL right off of interstate 55 at exit 109.

All our schools just completed major renovations and additions to their buildings, including a huge indoor sports complex. There is also a college ministry, CSF that works with students at Lincoln Land Community College and UIS in Springfield.

In general, our primary goals would be to:

Build relationships by engaging in students lives.
Encourage students to build relationships with God and help develop a strong spiritual foundation.
Share Jesus with our community.
